It’s been a while since we had fish… What better way to satisfy our cravings than a visit to Curlies Beach Shack—one of our favorite spots? It’s about 16 km from home, and the last time we were here, Arjun was just five months old.
He enjoyed the beach back then, and this time was no different. The ambience was just as lovely, and to our surprise, the same waiter came to take our order. Such a humble guy—he made us feel comfortable right away.

We ordered our food and drinks and let Arjun loose in the sand. He was completely fascinated by the soft texture and had plenty of space to play under the coconut trees.
There was also a group of little girls playing nearby, and Arjun, well… he was absolutely enchanted. He couldn’t take his eyes off them! He got so distracted that he started following them around—babbling, reaching out to touch them, and trailing them wherever they went. Climbing steps, dancing, running—he was everywhere! The girls were sweet enough to stop, smile at him, and keep coming back to play.

The food and drinks were fantastic, and we clicked a ton of selfies. We even tossed Arjun onto the beanbag where we were sitting—he loved it! Not once did he get cranky the entire time we were at the shack.
Then came the moment to step into the sea. We changed Arjun into his beach attire—well, just a swimming diaper! Ambica was a little tired, so it was just Arjun and me in the water. We didn’t go all in, just played around at the shore. The waves were a bit strong, and Arjun wasn’t too keen, but we still had fun splashing around, playing in the sand, and taking a stroll while Ambica relaxed.

Overall, it was the perfect outing after a hectic week!
