Date: January 26th, Sunday (Evening)
One of my favorite beaches in Goa—it’s been a while since we last came here. We’ve visited twice before: once when Arjun was just two months old, along with Ambica’s parents and Ammu, and again on Ambica’s birthday. Both times, we stayed at the beach, soaking in the beauty of the sunset and sunrise.

This beach is special to me because it’s flat, perfect for walking and running, and much less crowded than other beaches. You’ll often find people doing yoga and other physical activities, adding to its peaceful vibe.
We started our afternoon with lime soda, and Ambica ordered a fish starter. I skipped eating since I had a run planned—oh yeah, I had signed up for a challenge to run 5 km straight without a break. This beach was the perfect place for it. I had been preparing for about a week, walking every evening in our society to build up to it.
Well, I completed my 5 km run, though at a slow pace. The sun completely drained me since I started at 4:30 PM. We were all a little worn out, but our moods lifted when Arjun showed interest in going to the water. We walked over to the stream that joins the sea and enjoyed the cool, flowing water.

We all sat in the water, playing as the current gently passed over us. As Arjun got more comfortable, we even lay down in the flowing water, completely immersed in the moment. Arjun loved it! Ambica, as always, was amazing at engaging with him—she talked to him, showed him different types of shells, and told little stories, making it even more fun.

After spending a good hour in the water, we headed back to the shack, changed into dry clothes, and got ready to celebrate my 5 km run with a beer. We ordered some fish while Arjun enjoyed his baby food. It was pure joy watching the sunset—a perfect golden dip into the sea, only to rise again the next morning.

Arjun was the star of the evening, bringing so much cheer to our little beach adventure!
